Ryan McMahon
Inhaler
Ryan McMahon is a drummer and percussionist from the Irish rock band Inhaler. Based in Dublin, a city renowned for its music and celebration of culture, Ryan met his fellow band mates while they were in school and quickly bonded over a mutual interest in eclectic styles of music. Taking influence mainly from the 80’s Manchester pop scene, bands such as The Stone Roses, Joy Division and The Smiths played a seismic role in honing the sound and style of each members playing ability within the group.
First picking up the sticks at the age of 12, Ryan and Inhaler have not withheld or restrained themselves from their ever evolving sound.
Having already gone through various musical transformations, so too has Ryan’s drumming inspirations, ranging from Dave Grohl, Stewart Copeland, Brian Downey, Nathan Followill, Mike Joyce and Chad Smith. Comprising of Elijah Hewson (Vocals), Josh Jenkinson (lead guitar), Robert Keating (bass) and Ryan on drums, the band released their no.1 debut album ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’ in July 2021.

"Immediately as I sat behind the kit and familiarised myself more over the years with their makes, the sound that came off of them was undeniable. It became apparent that this was a company that I wanted to be apart of. I also recognised the passion that each member of BDC had for the company and the production of these kits and it was the sense of a ‘team’ that drew me in closer."
